State Bank of India (SBI) Clerk Mains Examination is going to be held next week. Here we are providing the Syllabus of SBI Clerk Mains 2016.

Reasoning / Computer 

The Reasoning & Computer questions will be in the ratio of 30/35: 20/15, which means the number of questions from Reasoning section will be more as compare to Computer Section.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Seating Arrangement (Circular – Inward Outward)
  • Linear Arrangement (expected – North South facing)
  • Puzzle – Floor based
  • Coding Decoding
  • Miscellaneous (Blood Relation, Direction, Ranking, Alphanumeric)
  • Data Sufficiency

Note: Less chances of asking of Input Output questions in SBI Clerk Mains Exam.

Computer Aptitude:

  • Fundamentals of Computer
  • History of Computer
  • Internet
  • MS Office – Word, MS Power point, MS Excel
  • Memory
  • Input Output devices, etc.

Quantitative Aptitude:

  • Number Series
  • Data Interpretation – Tabular /Bar Graph / Pie Chart / Missing DI (less chance).
  • Simplification
  • Quadratic Equation
  • Data Sufficiency
  • Miscellaneous Questions (Miscellaneous Questions consist of questions from different topics such as – Profit loss, Average, SI & CI, Ratio & Proportion, Time & Work, Time, Speed & Distance, Boats & Streams, etc).

English Language: 

  • Reading Comprehension
  • Cloze Test
  • Parajumbles
  • Sentence Improvement
  • Spotting Error
  • Fill in the blanks

General/ Financial Awareness: 

 It is expected that 25 questions will be asked from Current Affairs & Static Gk and rest 25 questions will be from Banking, Economy & Financial Awareness.

Current Affairs questions can be asked from new Appointments, Awards and Honours, Sports, new schemes, National and International news, latest developments in Science and Technology.

Financial Awareness – Questions can be asked from latest Banking, Economy & Financial News. News from RBI,  SBI, ICICI, HDFC, Monetary policy etc.

Static GK  Thermal Power Station, Nuclear Power Station, Dams, Temples, Famous Places, National Park, Wildlife Sanctuary, Capital, Currency etc.
